You did a wonderful job, Martin, of bringing us into your heart and mind, as a young man just stepping out in the larger world and being first perplexed and then appalled by the judgements, prejudices, and lack of understanding and compassion that shrouds so much of the world. But I can see that you did not allow yourself to be cowed but instead have embraced the challenges of living as a human being in a very imperfect world.
