Every spring, as I Hear the songs and calls of each species of bird arrive, I call out loud, “Welcome back, robins” “It’s lovely to hear you again, flickers” “Phoebes, so happy you made it back!”

And I mean it with all my heart.

I would imagine the raven had some interesting comments to make!
