Just like you, I prefer the early Fall to the summer. I find that hot, humid days, and nights that are not much cooler, drain me of strength and ambition; whereas the cool, dryer days and nights of September and October fill me with energy and renewed purpose. There is no doubt in my mind that summers are getting hotter, longer, and much more difficult to enjoy. Even my garden plants, and the surrounding trees drooping in the heat and lack of rain , seem to agree!
