I love this article. It pretty closely resembles my experience. I took a job as a temporary library director about 6 months into retirement. Heh, the money looked good! But about 3 days in I realized I really, really ,really didn't want to be a library director anymore! That's why I retired after 32 years of it, in the first place! I finished the job to the best of my ability, but truly didn't enjoy it. So no more work! I am so done with "earning" my living! If my finances become a little shaky, I will just spend less: live on bread, fruit and of course chocolate if I need to!
