If it happened to alight on a branch, it did not stay there for long, returning always to the wire until it flew out of my yard after a few minutes of agitated consideration of the area. He was spastic and adorable.
I love these little birds too. So happy to see you feature them in your piece. They are feisty and such a joy to watch, especially when they raise their little "tufted" crowns.
