I love her book and have read it several times. She was a woman with no tolerance for conceited people or whiners but great compassion for those who want to create, despite the endless difficulties and obstacles that make creative work so challengin g. I love her chapter on why it is better to neglect housework than to neglect your writing! I appreciate the humor in this piece you have written as well as the compassion and encouragement.
