I guess there are two compliments I would share because they both truly made me feel “seen”.One was “ your eyes are so bright right now they seem to sparkle!” These words followed my having related to the man some story that really excited me.

The other was when a man I had just begun to know intimately said to me “ there’s something so wonderfully childlike about you. Not childish, but childlike, you seem so interested and so truly delighted in so many things. It’s like you see things with fresh eyes, things that so many people, including me,take for granted.”
