I don't think it's possible, Jay, to leave this life with nothing "wasted" or "unused". I understand the feeling of wanting to make the best possible use of the gifts God has given to you. But I think that God given gift is essentially a bottomless lake. No matter how many times or how deeply you plunge, you will never, ever reach the bottom of that lake. And that's a good thing.
More than anything I think it's important to know that, so we won't be hard on ourselves about what we didn't get to do. And won't feel unhappy about not having enough time. You have been so deeply responsive to everyone who has come your way on Medium, Jay, and yes, I am one of those people whose day you made by taking the time to respond with encouragement and kindness.
Thank you. And may you find many, many more opportunities to share your special thoughts and words, and may your smiles (on and off a sheet of paper) make life better for others, and by extension, (for kindness always brings blessings right back to the giver) to you!
Namaste! Debbie
