Hope springs eternal is a great one! Wish I had thought of that one! : ) I agree that a mother would love to consider the idea of "offspring" on Mother's Day,; but to be honest, as a mother I must admit that any word of praise and appreciation for mothers, on any day, makes my eyes tear up a little!
